The nickname my brother gave to me as a child is nickname is Jozie. I absolutely hated it then. He had a particular nasaly way of saying Jooooo-ziiiiieeeee that was particularly irritating. Now, 3 decades later, it holds a special place in my heart.
During the day, I teach teenagers. When I am not doing that, I write, dream, meditate, curse, and watch too many hours of television. I want to write more. This is my space for that writing. Some will be highly edited, but mostly not. I will reflect, critique, and maybe write a poem (or not). I will write about all matter of subjects that move my spirit.
